These Chashitsu Designs have an Extended Roof, overhanging the main building by almost 6', sheltering the 4' wide surrounding Deck / Engawa.

The Roof is a Dutch Hip, or Irimoya style, with an exposed, curved Ridge Beam.

This first Chasitsu Plan has 12' square walls, and comes in two Configurations.

One Version has the wide Roof Overhang, and surrounding Engawa, on all

4 sides, while the other Version has the Roof Overhang Cut- back to 2' 6"

on 1 Side and 1 End, with the Engawa / wide overhang on 1 side and

1 End only, the better to fit back into a corner of your Property.

*Our Plans include complete Details for the Roof, Posts and Beams, inner floor framing and surrounding Engawa / Deck . We don't supply any Interior or Exterior Wall or foundation Details, or Plans for the Shoji, Windows, Doors,  Etc. shown in these CAD Images.   *  These Asian styled Buildings are Designed Western Style, with Rafters, Ridge Beam, Rafter Ties, and Modern (mostly concealed) Fasteners instead of the Traditional Japanese Roof Joinery. We don't supply any Engineering Data for our Azumayas, usually not a problem with our smaller structures, but with our larger Azumayas you may or may not need to have a local Architect or Engineer review and stamp the Plans.
