This is one of my nicest Projects, a beautiful Seaside Deck we built in 1996,

Located in Encinitas, Calif., high up the cliff right on the ocean.
 7- 26- 08 We've refinished all the woodwork, replaced the stainless steel cables,

and done some other maintenance / repair.

Not bad looking for a 12 year old deck exposed to extreme elements :- )

I designed this coastal bluff deck with a wave theme echoing the swirls and
lines you see as the water recedes down the beach.

The decking is the original Trex 2x6 plank. The railings segmented top cap,

and the curved step facia are clear heart vertical grain redwood,

and slim 2x4 Ipe posts.
