This thatched deck bower provides heavy shade

for the little deck tucked into the corner.

The bower structure components are fabricated at our shop from clear kiln dried western cedar.

The deck seating and decking is clear KD mahogany, fastened with screws and the holes plugged. A gray oil stain aids in the weathering process.

The thatch material is factory treated with multiple coats of exterior fire retardant which greatly extends its lifespan outdoors and gives it a Class A fire rating.
