shinto style deck

This deck sits on a hilltop in very southern California and is surrounded by a "naturalscape" of mature succulents, rocks and boulders.
The zig zag bridge keeps evil spirits off the deck space.

There will be a beautiful rockscape "pond" under the bridge
and around the perimeter of the deck.

The decking is Trex, while the railing and
shade structure are fabricated from Ipe.

The 3-tiered railing has a copper pipe as an element
