This large deck is situated right next to a California coastal lagoon, and has a curving deckedge representing the waters edge. The Ipe deck surrounds a lap pool. The spa-surround seating is made from Alaskan yellow cedar, probably the most splinter-free wood in the world.

Wood deck grates give access to the pool cover and spa filter.   The zig zag bridge will span over a future rockscape "lagoon."
