Japanese Deck Railing

Peacefully adrift on a gravel “lake,” this redwood deck is accessed from the house across a zig zag bridge. This Japanese style deck railing has ancient roots, and is fashioned after one at a Shinto Temple Joe saw while researching. Joe notes, “It took me quite a while to figure out all the cuts!”
