Squishing a deck, with seating, into a tiny yard is no easy feat, especially when you add the wrinkles of an odd shaped corner lot and an existing free-form patio slab.

The seating nook with vine arbor, and the seating nook with bower, tucked behind the sago palm, are both fabricated from Ipe.

This seating nook and bower is fabricated from Ipe, one of the ironwoods. Decking is Trex.

This seating and decking are made from mahogany, while the bower and screen are fabricated from western red cedar. A vine will soon grow over the screen, hiding the spa equipment beyond.
